Your Storm Contracting project manager is available for you at any time during the process to answer questions you may have.

Here’s how the storm damage insurance claim process works:

Damage Inspection

Call 877.93.STORM (877.937.8676) or click here for a free no obligation damage inspection with Storm Contracting. The purpose of this inspection is to see if you have storm damage and to determine whether or not it will warrant an insurance claim.

If sufficient damage is found, we will work with you to contact your insurance company and file a property claim.

Insurance Inspection

We recommend having your Storm Contracting Project Manager at your property when the insurance adjuster arrives to make sure everyone agrees on the scope of damage.

Your Storm Contracting representative will meet with your insurance company’s adjuster at your property on the day of your insurance inspection. Our representative will walk the property with your insurance adjuster during the inspection to ensure they agree on the scope of property damage.Click here to learn the truth about estimates.

Build Process

You will receive an adjuster’s report from your insurance company detailing the storm damage that was found at your property and how much they are willing to pay for the repairs. Your Storm Contracting representative will review the estimate to see that the scope and price are adequate for the restoration of your property.

If the proper repairs cannot be completed with the allotted amount of money, we will submit our estimate to your insurance provider. We will deal directly with your insurance company to explain how we arrived at our estimate.

After we have settled on a price, your representative will work with you to select project materials and decide on a date to begin construction.

Payments and Warranty

Once a settlement amount has been agreed upon we will provide you with a copy of that report.

Then we will order the materials. Once we have a material delivery date we will contact you so that we can arrange a safe delivery.

After that we will coordinate with our crew on a start date. Within a week we will begin and complete the roofing process.

After all work has been completed we will collect the first insurance check you received from them and we will final invoice to receive the last check from your carrier. After all is said and done we will provide you will all necessary warranty paperwork for your records.
